Partner with us

Do you want to join the ranks of churches across the state of Connecticut who are partnering with STCO?

We'd love to partner with you to bring an STCO event to the women or teen girls in your church. We are now booking for the fall of 2019 and spring of 2020. Please fill out the form below and we will contact you with more information.

How much does it cost?

Nothing! We don't charge our partner churches to hold the event and we don't charge our dinner guests. Love offerings are welcome. We want guests to come and experience a nice dinner, great conversation and interesting speakers without having to pay anything.

What does STCO provide?

We provide all the dishes, linens, decorations, food, volunteers, basic AV equipment, musicians, 2 speakers,  set-up, clean up and break-down. We try to make it as easy for you as possible for our church partners. We will respect your space!  We are have liability insurance up to $1M.

What do churches provide?

We ask churches to provide a space for up to 60 people, tables, chairs and kitchen. We don't cook in the kitchen but use it to serve the food and wash dishes. We also ask the churches to provide one person who would like to speak.

Tell me more

We have two women's groups and one teen group. Each group meets monthly for 8 months out of the year. Each event takes place on a Friday or Saturday and lasts 3 hours.  We are very careful to provide restricted meals to anyone who has an allergy or intolerance!

Testimonials

"We are a smaller regional church with many women engaged in working and caring for families. Although our hearts long for more connection, it can be difficult to coordinate. Hosting a Something to Chew On experience at our church allowed all of our women to participate and added the blessing of meeting other women as well. The women of STCO used their gifts to create an environment that fostered rest and refreshment for all women. The meals were even personalized if need be to make sure each woman could come and enjoy a healthy, tasty meal. The topic was challenging but also met a deeper longing and need in each woman. In such a short time, women connected, were put at ease, and were able to be freed up to give and receive love in the name of Jesus. It was an evening of nourishment for both body and soul."

“We are so thankful that we were able to work with Something to Chew On for an event at Hebron Church of Hope last fall.  The volunteers and staff of STOC are truly incredible. They handled every detail of our ladies event with care, grace, and love. The ladies of our church were so encouraged by the time spent connecting with other ladies, singing to the Lord, hearing testimonies of God’s work, and praying together. It was a major success and we would highly recommend hosting an event at your church.”
